Vestavindshagen is located on the island of Bjarkøy, with Andfjorden as its closest neighbor. The property offers a magnificent view of Andøy and the open sea, giving guests a unique opportunity to find peace in pleasant surroundings.

The cabin presents an inviting facade and houses a well-equipped interior, including a wine cellar, microbrewery, Jacuzzi, pizza oven with accompanying premises, comfortable beds, wood-burning stove and modern kitchen facilities.

There is also a newly built garage with capacity for several cars and a separate annex for additional sleeping accommodation. One of the sleeping areas is in an elevated part of the cabin with panoramic views.

In summer, the property can enjoy the midnight sun, while in winter it offers the northern lights without significant light pollution.

Guests are welcomed by a dedicated hostess who ensures that the stay is tailored to individual wishes and needs.

In the summer season, activities such as whale watching, SUP, boat trips, fishing, mountain hikes, museum visits, medieval churches, shopping opportunities, cultural events and a water park are offered.

The area consists of 365 islands and skerries, and the sandy beaches have arctic swimming temperatures.

Guests can enjoy drinks produced in the local microbrewery, and there is the opportunity to book a chef to prepare specialties based on local ingredients.

In winter, the area provides optimal conditions for nature experiences, with good opportunities to observe the Northern Lights directly from the property.

The neighboring island of Grytøy is known for off-piste skiing and attracts ski enthusiasts from all over the world, with the possibility of a guide. Vestavindshagen is also a good base for day trips to destinations such as Lofoten, Vesterålen, Senja and Narvik.

Experiences in the immediate vicinity include whale watching, SUP, boat trips, fishing trips, mountain hikes, off-piste skiing, northern lights tours, Viking Museum, medieval church, water park, shopping center, airport, sandy beaches and cultural life.
